Hornby Island

 

Year round on Hornby Island, residents and visitors share the shorelines and forested parkland with abundant local wildlife, including eagles, sea lions, seals, otters, seabirds, and occasionally Orcas.  Kayakers and boaters can often enjoy seeing these animals close-up.  Many visitors take in the beautiful scenery by hiking, biking or alternatively using the quiet surroundings to draw, paint, or just relax with a book.
