Port Clements

 

This beautiful village is located at the estuary of the Yakoun River, and offers a long boardwalk and many amenities. It’s most famous for the Golden Spruce tree which grew on the west bank of the river, and was the inspiration for a stunning hiking trail. There’s a rich history here, including The Haida Canoe, a fascinating example of the Haida’s use of the local cedar forests.
