Cruise across the Straight of Georgia on a scenic 90-minute BC Ferries sailing to Nanaimo and then head north along the old Island Highway for some fantastic ocean vistas along the way.

Tour Details:

Day 1: Vancouver to Parksville
In the morning, you will make your way north towards the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal and board a BC Ferry for a scenic, 90-minute sailing that takes you through fjord-like waters past mountains blanketed with virgin forests and glaciated peaks. On arrival at the Departure Bay Terminal, you’ll continue your journey north to Parksville, where you can spend the rest of the day enjoying the array of amenities the resort has to offer including a playground for the little-ones, and long beach walks. Tigh-Na-Mara offers one of the most extensive children's recreation programs on Vancouver Island and seasonal activities for kids of all ages sure to thrill the whole family.

Day 2: A day of beaches
Today, you can relax and explore the beaches, or take a visit to some of the entertaining attractions in the area including Milner Gardens, Horne Lake Caves, The World Parrot Refuge, mini-golf and Morningstar Farm, home of Little Qualicum Cheeseworks and Morningstar Creek Winery.

Day 3: Parksville to Vancouver
Allow plenty of time for your return journey to Vancouver so you can stop en route at the many attractions in the surrounding communities. Then from Nanaimo, take a 90-minute BC Ferry ride back to Horseshoe Bay.
