Big City Thrills, West Coast-Style

Vancouver impresses with its spectacular setting – the rugged Coast Mountains across Burrard Inlet to the north and the sparkling waters of the Georgia Strait to the west. Yet the heart of Canada’s third largest metropolitan centre is a cosmopolitan city with an exhilarating multi-cultural scene. Stanley Park and the beautiful surrounding scenery are an essential part of this West Coast urban experience, but only one facet of a dynamic, fun-filled destination.

Take in the fresh forest air from nearby Grouse Mountain in the morning. Browse the seemingly endless blocks of boutiques and shops on bustling Robson Street in the afternoon. Enjoy cutting-edge cuisine at world-renowned restaurants in the evening. Everywhere you go, the vibe is lively and entertaining.

Vancouver truly shines in every season. From the busy stalls of Granville Island Market to Yaletown’s trendy vibe, it’s no wonder Vancouver was named the world’s most livable city (according to The Economist). It’s the perfect destination for some big-city thrills.

Tour details Day 1: Victoria to Vancouver

Aboard the 90-minute BC Ferry sailing from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen, you'll pass through the majestic Gulf Islands and across the Straight of Georgia. After checking in to your hotel in Vancouver's famous downtown, you can spend the rest of the day and evening strolling around Vancouver's cosmopolitan centre.

Day 2: Vancouver to Victoria

The day is yours to enjoy Vancouver’s world class shopping, outdoor adventure, celebrated restaurants, and other sights and attractions.  Hop-on and off one of the turn-of-the-century San Francisco-style trolleys, and be inspired by the drivers' live and informative commentary. Walk around the seawall, or stroll through the many central lush parks. Or spend the day in the North Shore Mountains sightseeing, skiing, mountain biking or golfing, just 15 minutes from downtown. Then make your way to the ferry terminal for a 90-minute sailing back to Swartz Bay.
