On the spectacular Bear River Pass, which cuts through the Coastal Mountains, over 20 hanging glaciers are visible from the road, including Bear Glacier, which offers the world's easiest access to a blue glacier. There is also a range of hiking trails that reveal evidence of old gold and silver mines through a magnificent coastal forest, mountain streams and alpine meadows. And of course, there’s amazing fishing.
