The Coast Discovery Inn & Marina overlooks the picturesque waters of the Discovery Passage and the Coast Mountains range. Guests have convenient access to the Tyee Plaza, which houses retail shops, the Campbell River Visitors’ Information Centre and the Chamber of Commerce. Rooms include Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, a mini-fridge, daily newspaper, and complimentary in-room coffee and tea. The hotel itself offers a complimentary breakfast until 9am every morning, and be sure to check out the hotel's D.I. Restaurant and Lounge, and beer and wine store.

Campbell River is set between Strathcona Provincial Park to the west and the Discovery Islands to the east. It’s home to orcas, tyee salmon, sea lions and rare birds found in Mitlenatch Island Nature Provincial Park. Known for the past century as the salmon capital of the world, it offers unlimited outdoor adventures on water and land: go hiking, canoeing, whale-watching and sightseeing. Take a day trip to Strathcona Park, Mount Washington Ski Resort, Discovery Islands or Quadra Island. Or you can go on a bear-watching tour, try stock car racing, visit a salmon hatchery or go scuba diving in the Discovery Passage. On summer evenings, you can sit back and watch as cruise ships pass by on their way to Alaska. An awe-inspiring sight, these dazzling, fully lit ships seem to appear out of nowhere.
