An idyllic 100-minute cruise across the Strait of Georgia takes you from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. From there, a drive of just over an hour along the coast brings you north to Courtenay, where urban amenities mingle with small-town ambience in the perfect combination. Ferry: Nanaimo (Departure Bay) to West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay)

Start your day by taking a relaxing waterfront walk or visiting some local shops and galleries before driving south along the coast to the Departure Bay ferry terminal. A picturesque ferry ride will set your senses at ease as you sail through the gorgeous Strait of Georgia on your way to Horseshoe Bay on the mainland.
