Day 1

Day 1 - Prince Rupert to Tlell via Skidegate

Ferry: Prince Rupert (Prince Rupert) to Skidegate (Skidegate)

Your adventure begins with a 7-hour journey onboard BC Ferries through some of the most diverse and spectacular scenery in the world. With 1,884 islands that make up Haida Gwaii, featuring snow-topped mountains, mist-enshrouded forests and windswept beaches, it is quite a sight to see. Check-in to Haida Gwaii Glamping Co. and settle into your luxury designer tent.

Day 2

Day 2 - Tlell and Port Clements

After a delicious breakfast at onsite geodesic dome social house, take a short and scenic drive to the village of Port Clements which was once a thriving logging town. Port Clements is now known for its Golden Spruce Trail, a gentle 20-minute walk through lush, high green canopy of old-growth forest, which leads down to the viewpoint of the historic Golden Spruce. If you are in for a little more adventure, embark on the 10km hike to see the remnants of the 1928 Pesuta Shipwreck.

Day 3

Day 3 - Masset

Masset, the northern gateway to Naikoon Provincial Park, and western Mile 0 of Highway 16, is located at the northern end of Graham Island, the largest of the more than 150 islands that comprise Haida Gwaii. You could visit North Beach, which is stretches almost 100 km in length, and during the right tides and water conditions the naturally formed blowhole will shoot water into the air. Or, head into Old Massett to take a tour of the 18 totem poles. 

Day 4

Day 4 - Skidegate

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before enjoying scenic drive to Skidegate. Along the way, you can stop at the very picturesque Balance Rock on Jungle Beach. The drive through Skidegate Village and Queen Charlotte City offers yet another perspective of the Island's cultural diversity. Next you can visit the Haida Heritage Centre at Kay Llngaay in Skidegate to learn about the Haida culture, or hike Sleeping Beauty Trial to see spectacular vistas.

Day 5

Day 5 - Tlell to Prince Rupert via Skidegate

Ferry: Skidegate (Skidegate) to Prince Rupert (Prince Rupert)

Today, you’ll make your way back to Skidegate, where you’ll board for your 7-hour BC Ferries voyage back to Prince Rupert.
