Day 1

Day 1 - Vancouver Island to Oliver

Ferry: Victoria (Swartz Bay) to Vancouver (Tsawwassen)

Begin your journey with a ferry sailing across the Strait of Georgia, and see some of BC’s geographic diversity before beginning your scenic drive to Oliver. Enjoy a mountainous drive through the coastal rainforest, passing through some of BC’s most beautiful parks, such as Manning Provincial Park. After checking in, get some fresh air while getting acquainted with your surroundings by taking a walk along Main St. to get a feel for Oliver’s quaint shops and restaurants scene. Unwind in the evening with a dinner at locally sourced, rustic meets elegant, Miradoro. Sip wine on the restaurant’s patio and take in the panoramic views of Oliver. End the evening at the local pub, Pappa’s Firehall Bistro for live music and local beer or wine.

Whether you’re looking to spend the day perusing wineries, or outdoors hiking the hills, Coast Oliver Hotel is a great location to do it from. Day 3

Day 3 - Oliver to Vancouver Island

Ferry: Vancouver (Tsawwassen) to Victoria (Swartz Bay)

It’s your final day in Oliver, so wake up early and check off some activities that didn’t fit into yesterday’s schedule. Go for an early morning hike up to McIntyre bluff, or visit one or two more wineries. Then it’s time to embark on your drive back across the mountains and through the rainforest to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal.
