Day 1

Day 1 - Vancouver to Campbell River

Ferry: West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) to Nanaimo (Departure Bay)

Start your trip with a scenic sailing to Vancouver Island. On the way to Campbell River, take a side trip to walk amongst giant Douglas fir trees in Cathedral Grove.

Day 2

Day 2 - Campbell River to Port Hardy

Heads towards the charming town of Port Hardy, but not before exploring other seaside stops like Telegraph Cove, Sayward and Port McNeill on the North Coast of Vancouver Island.

Day 3

Day 3 - Inside Passage Cruise to Prince Rupert

In the morning, board the ferry and embark on a 16-hour sailing through the Inside Passage to Prince Rupert. As you sail past breathtaking scenery and through glacial fjords, keep an eye out for coastal wildlife.

Day 4

Day 4 - Prince Rupert – Grizzly bear or whale-watching tour

Adventure is calling! Depending on the season, you can take a guided tour into the Khutzeymateen Provincial Park to observe grizzly bears in their natural habitat, or watch orcas, humpback whales, porpoises or seals during a whale-watching tour.

Day 5

Day 5 - Prince Rupert to Smithers

Continue on your journey through Northern BC, following the Skeena and Bulkley River to Smithers. Marvel at the majestic landscape, as the Hudson Bay Mountain and Glacier come into view.

Day 6 - Smithers to Prince George

Day 7 - Prince George to Quesnel

Your road trip will take you into the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region, to discover the city of Quesnel.  If you venture to the nearby Pinnacles Provincial Park, you will be treated to sightings of the unique formation of hoodoos.

Day 8 - Quesnel to Bella Coola

Explore more of the Central Coast and all it has to offer. Stretch your legs in Williams Lake, or stop off at Nimpo or Anahim Lake before settling into your hotel room in Bella Coola for the evening.

Day 9 - Bella Coola – Eco-rafting or grizzly bear tour

Day 11 - Central Coast Cruise to Port Hardy

Ferry: Nanaimo (Departure Bay) to West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay)

On your way to the Nanaimo ferry terminal, detour to Coombs to visit the Old Country Market and watch goats as they graze on the roof.
