Ucluelet Retreat Black Rock Resort 2 nights

At the Black Rock Resort, you’ll experience the wild spirit of Canada’s West Coast at its most untamed. It combines contemporary comfort and quality service with the ambience of Canada’s western frontier. The beautiful architecture – incorporating rock, water, glass, steel and wood – contrasts with and enhances the surrounding landscape. Enjoy the West Coast cuisine in Fetch restaurant, which uses only the freshest local ingredients.

The stunning ferry voyage across the Strait of Georgia is the prelude to an awe-inspiring drive through ancient forests and past crystal-clear lakes. Once you arrive at Ucluelet (pronounced you-CLOO-let), you’ll find windswept, sandy beaches that stretch for miles.

If you venture out from the resort, you can explore the Wild Pacific Trail running through the property and along the rugged cliffs and shoreline of Vancouver Island’s west coast. Divided into three sections – Lighthouse Loop, Big Beach and Brown's Beach – the trail gives hikers unforgettable views of the ocean and outer reefs. In the area, there are almost unlimited activities like surfing, fishing, swimming, whale-watching, kayaking and beachcombing, year-round walking and hiking, and winter storm-watching.

The town of Ucluelet offers more options, including sports fields, a mini-aquarium, lots of parks, a waterfront promenade along the inner side of the Ucluth Peninsula, restaurants, unique shops and galleries, and harbour facilities. Nearby, there’s the surfing town of Tofino and its world-famous beaches.

Testimonials

Here's what our customers had to say about Ucluelet Retreat Black Rock Resort...

The accommodations at the Black Rock were deluxe. The rooms were very contemporary but very comfort controlled. My wife and I enjoyed the hospitality that the resort exhibited.

The booking process was as simple as sending an email to a representative who was able to customize a trip for us. The Black Rock Resort was wonderful. Rooms are very nice and reasonably priced. The food was GREAT.

Katelynn L.

The bathroom was amazing, heated floors, rain shower, bathrobes, lovely "BeeKind" soaps. A very handy little "kitchen" area allowed us to eat a few simple meals in this comfortable room. The Black Rock is the best hotel room I have every stayed in!

Our BCFerries Vacations experience was fantastic from start to finish. From the timely reply to my first phone call and the exceptional service I received when booking, to the stunning Black Rock resort and the unparallelled scenery of Ucluelet, it was a trip neither my wife or I will soon forget.

Andrew T.

The views were amazing... you felt as though you were on the edge of the world, and the food at the resort was top notch. We felt very spoiled during our days there... in fact we felt our time at Black Rock was too short!

Janis P.
