Day 1

Day 1 - Vancouver to Campbell River

Ferry: West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay) to Nanaimo (Departure Bay)

Start your trip with a scenic sailing to Vancouver Island. On the way to Campbell River, take a side trip to Old Country Market in Coombs to watch goats graze on the roof.

Day 2

Day 2 - Campbell River to Port Hardy

Day 3

Day 3 - Inside Passage Cruise to Prince Rupert

Day 4

Day 4 - Prince Rupert – Grizzly bear or whale-watching tour

Day 5

Day 5 - Prince Rupert to Smithers

Day 8 - Barkerville Historic Town

Day 9

Day 9 - Quesnel to Bella Coola

This portion of the road trip will take you from Quesnel to Bella Coola. Stretch your legs in Williams Lake and take in the views at Nimpo Lake before reaching Bella Coola nestled in the lush valley.

Day 10

Day 10 - Bella Coola – Eco-rafting or grizzly bear tour

Day 11 - Central Coast Cruise to Port Hardy

In the morning, begin your board your Central Coast sailing to return to Vancouver Island. On the way, look out for coastal wildlife and remote Indigenous villages, as you pass by some of the most rugged and beautiful scenery in the world.

Day 12 - Port Hardy to Courtenay

Enjoy a leisurely day on Vancouver Island. Once you’re arrived in Courtenay, visit the Courtenay & Museum & Paleontology Centre or venture to Goose Spit Park.

Day 13

Day 13 - Courtenay to Vancouver

Ferry: Nanaimo (Departure Bay) to West Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay)

Wake up early to enjoy your last day on Vancouver Island. On the way to the Nanaimo ferry terminal, detour to explore Horne Lake Caves, comb the beach in Parksville, or walk amongst giant Douglas fir trees in Cathedral Grove.
